You will need to bring the following equipment to all classes:

Fabric scissors tagged with a ribbon

Paper scissors for cutting pattern pieces

Seam ripper

Tape measure

Tailors chalk or pencil

Pins and pincushion

Hand sewing needles

Sewing machine and manual*

A set of 6 bobbins and spare needles for your sewing machine

 
Handmade By You can supply a mini-kit of haberdashery that includes a seam ripper, tape measure, tailors chalk, pins and hand-sewing needles. Cost of kit is $12.

* Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine to class as it is helpful to learn on the machine you will continue to sew on at
   home. If you do not own a machine or are unable to borrow one, Handmade By You has 3 studio sewing machines that you are welcome to use.
  If you choose to use a studio machine, you will need to purchase 6 Brother bobbins from a retailer or Handmade By You.
